FakeCLIP: Multimodal Fake Caption Detection with Mixed Languages for Explainable Visualization
Technologies and Applications of Artificial Intelligence (TAAI)
We got a "Merit Award Paper" from the TAAI 2021 Conference. Our model is modified from the current state of the art model to provide better multimodal representation and meaningful visualization. I push myself further by tackling the mixed language which happens to people who speak more than 1 language. I build the code pipelines using PyTorch Lightning and monitor the experiments using TensorBoard.

Indonesian Sentence Boundary Detection using Deep Learning Approaches

Detecting sentence boundaries seems a simple task, however, it is a very crucial pre-processing to separate context between text. We found that the full stop mark represents quite a lot of meaning in Indonesian language. Therefore, I initiated the dataset collection as well as some practical cases which show the uniqueness of Indonesian language when tackling sentence boundary detection.

Named Entity Recognition for Extracting Concept in Ontology Building on Indonesian Language using End-to-end Bidirectional Long Short Term Memory

I share the same excitement with my bachelor professor due to the needs of building ontology as a basic foundation for other natural language processing tasks in Indonesian language. Actually, this research became my bachelor thesis and also was my first time writing a research paper. The biggest leap in this experience is learning an end-to-end model which is able to do multitask learning while maintaining generalization.

I used the MQTT protocol for real-time monitoring and control. Another interesting issue is the self-healing mechanism due to its location in the remote area.

There were many bigger competitors in intelligence traffic cameras. However, my team is a step ahead because our solution can be easily implemented and more robust in the local environment. I do the backend code for vehicle classification, speed detection, and plate recognition. I used TensorFlow for model inference. I also simplify some algorithm design so that our solution can run in real-time.
